To choose the right bracelet size, you can use a bracelet size chart and measure your wrist:
- Wrap a piece of paper around your wrist just below your wrist bone.
- Mark where the paper overlaps and measure the length.
- Use a ruler to measure the length you marked on the paper.
- Use the bracelet size chart to find the recommended size for your wrist measurement.
Bracelet sizes typically range from extra small (XS) to extra large (XL). A comfortable fit is usually 2 cm or 0.79 in larger than your wrist measurement. You can also consider the type of bracelet you want to wear and how snug you want it to fit:
Snug fit For leather or cord bracelets, choose a size that's close to your wrist measurement
Comfortable fit For charm, gemstone, or chain bracelets, choose a size that's big enough to fit a little finger between your wrist and the bracelet.
Solid metal bracelet For a solid metal bracelet like a cuff or bangle, choose an exact or loose fit because your wrist expands throughout the day.
If you're between sizes, it's usually easier to size down than size up. You can also measure an old bracelet that belongs to the person you're buying for.
